“Money is life.” This sounds like something Gordon Gekko, a fictional character from the 1987 film "Wall Street", would say. Gekko is a wealthy and ruthless corporate suit-and-tie; a greedy trader obsessed with money and willing to do whatever it takes to get to the top – and stay there. His catch phrase "Greed is good" is infamous and he is widely quoted in popular culture to represent someone who has sacrificed his own life for the pursuit of money.
